Exposure – Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Exposure is looking for a brilliant Purchase Ledger Supervisor to work within the Exposure Finance Team. The role is key to the day to day running and financial success/stability of the business. Working together with the Finance team, the PLS should have a good understanding of basic finance-related matters, particularly with regard to payments, cost/spend status on all projects and intercompany items.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage 2 payment runs per month, whilst managing signatories and suppliers in line with these payment runs (fortnightly).

Manage all suppliers to adhere to 60 days’ payment terms. We need minimal complaints from suppliers (ongoing).

Ensure events suppliers are paid in accordance with contractual agreements.

Question the necessity of all urgent payments in a bid to minimise them. If in doubt elevate to your line manager and FD.

Reconciliation of supplier statements (ongoing).

Intern payments (weekly).

Archiving/filing & management of file cabinet to ensure most recent paperwork is filed and accessible (ongoing).

Monthly open PO report so job balances are accurate.

Monthly review all open POs and query and if appropriate close old POs.

Monthly open expense claim report to ensure job balances are accurate and duplicate expense aren’t showing on jobs.

Monitor Uber expenditure on daily basis, query any travel out of policy whilst ensuring invoices are reviewed and settled monthly.

Ensure purchases are supported by PO before the goods are ordered. Report staff who persistently fail to raise POs to your line manager.

Devise a system to pay staff expenses promptly, i.e. a weekly expense cut off.

Ensure all expense claims are paid within 15 days of submission.

Any expenses not in line with policy should be rejected and passed back to staff member. Elevate any issues to line manager or FD.

Manage the expenses of CEO and CFO.

Ensure all petty cash is signed out by staff member and that receipts are regularly and accurately submitted so balances do not build up on accounts.

Ensure invoices are obtained promptly for all DD transactions going through bank statements.

Monthly interrogate the following nominal codes on Exposure Promotions and investigate/flag any unusual costs and items: Cleaning, Repairs & Maintenance, Kitchen & Sundry, Couriers

Close ‘loophole’ in leaving process and make sure that leavers report is interrogated weekly and any deductions necessary for departing staff are communicated to HR/FC prior to payroll sign off

Assist the finance team with the annual audit process

Assist FA with EE Recharges – monthly check/collation and inputting into recharge spreadsheet (monthly).

The Purchase Ledger Supervisor will be diligent and positive individual who has integrity and is highly proactive. Here at Exposure we believe that for individuals to perform to the best of their abilities and for teams to function efficiently, each team member should be aware of the aspects of their job for which they will personally be held responsible. Your performance will be continually assessed, and you will be formally reviewed via the appraisal process once a year. Everyone at Exposure is encouraged to develop within their roles and we also encourage and will fund studies for professional exams (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA).

The successful candidate will have experience of 1-2 years in a similar accounting role, preferably within a communications agency (or a professional services organisation where time is billed). You will be self-motivated and be able to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines. You will enjoy working in a creative agency and have excellent communication skills.

Exposure – Creative Producer

Exposure are on the hunt for a tenacious Creative Producer to work across our impressive client portfolio, including world-class brands such as Microsoft, Champion, Coca Cola and Dyson. We’re an independent communications agency, which sits under the Casbah group where we connect ideas, brands and culture. We offer our brands best in class expertise in PR, social media, brand events, film and content marketing.

We’re looking for a Creative Producer who is passionate about creating engaging and inspiring film and content, working on projects from beginning to end. Working with the wider production team, the successful candidate will be taking charge in the organising and coordinating of shoots, working closely with our account management team, creative team and external providers. We’re looking for someone who thoroughly enjoys generating new and exciting ideas of how we can push ground-breaking and innovate content. Working on budgets ranging from £40,000 to £1.5 million, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is proactive, enjoys being hands on and having the autonomy running on adrenaline and producing high-quality film.

The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience working in a Production background within a digital media or content-production agency

Experience working across film and content, across integrated campaigns

Previous experience working on coordinating and organising shoots ranging from £40,000 plus

The ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst making sure work is completed to a high standard

Well organised, proactive and hands on

Effectively communicate to key stakeholders and clients on expectations and current workflow

An understanding on how to manage budgets and workflow
