In 2012, John Smedley launched its first ever resort collection for women. Comprised of seven completely seamless pieces, the collection showcased the brand’s impressive levels of design and craft skill. Smedley asked us to create the collection lookbook and an engaging piece of accompanying content that would bring to life the seamless story.
We art directed, photographed and designed the lookbook. The creative centred around the movement and the fluidity of the clothes with dynamic, black and white shots. We created a film that, literally, animated the clothes by attaching wires to them and captured their flowing movement.
The capsule was covered by Vogue online and captured the attention of a high fashion audience.
