Since 2003, we’ve been collaborating with some of the most influential designers of all time – Matthew Williamson, Karl Lagerfeld and Jean Paul Gaultier – to turn Coca-Cola and Diet Coke bottles into powerful pieces on content. For the 30th anniversary of Diet Coke, we appointed Marc Jacobs who created quintessentially 80s, 90s and 00s bottles. To celebrate the milestone, we threw a spectacular London launch party that brought to life the campaign’s strapline, ‘sparkling together for 30 years.’
Caryn Franklin hosted 350 media, VIPs, celebrities, stakeholders and influencers (Eliza Cummings, David Gandy, Lily McMenamy and more); we built three decade-themed bars; fitted experiential photobooths; screened Marc Jacobs’ new Hunk TVC; and built life size versions of the bottles which were revealed in a grand drop moment. The event was a standout moment that garnered media attention for the new packaging. It got people talking, made headlines and the bottles sold out in premium outlets.
