Following the success of last season’s much-talked-about collaboration between UNIQLO and JW Anderson, Exposure again took the helm for the launch of the upcoming Spring/Summer ’18 collection. Developed on the theme of ‘British classics, designed for life today’, the new collection takes its inspiration from the quintessentially English Brighton Beach and combines JW Anderson’s innovative design with UNIQLO’s singular belief in fit and functionality.
Challenged with showcasing the collection to international top-tier fashion media and providing a deeper level of insight, Exposure went straight to the source – the perennial Brighton Pavilion.
Contrasting UNIQLO’s pared-back aesthetic against the lavish backdrop of the Pavilion, London’s fashion elite were invited to tour the space before the collection was debuted at an intimate model presentation and dinner, hosted by Jonathan Anderson himself.
‘I’m looking for this idea of British summer, the idea of being on Brighton Beach’, the Northern-Irish designer explained. Thankfully Brighton Beach is just as rainy in late-January as it is in late-July…
